Sermon Notes

Wicked

Pastor Tim reminds us that the Bible is not just a book—it’s God’s love letter to humanity, filled with encouragement, instruction, and divine revelations that uncover our deepest thoughts and desires. With the theme “Wicked: Everyone Needs a Savior,” he reminds us that all of us have sinned and fall short of God’s standard. True repentance, he explains, means humbling ourselves before God, resisting the devil, and feeling genuine sorrow for our sins. Pastor Tim also reminds us of the powerful contrast between the two trees in the Garden of Eden—the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, which brought separation from God, and the Tree of Life, which symbolizes Christ and the eternal life He offers. Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross is the answer to our wickedness, giving us access to the Tree of Life and the gift of salvation for all who believe. Let us respond to His love today and choose the life He offers—because the time for salvation is now.
