Pastor Whitney teaches about the enemy’s camp, sharing how this has been a challenging year for many of us, and when we look at our world with its violence and broken families, we recognize something is deeply wrong – this isn’t the victory we read about in Scripture. From creation, God’s purposes have been good using the Hebrew word “tov,” but Satan wants to corrupt this goodness by stealing what belongs to us – our health, marriage, children, finances, peace, and joy. The main teaching centers on 1 Samuel 30, where David consulted God before pursuing raiders and recovered everything with “nothing missing, small or great,” serving as a type and shadow of what Jesus accomplished when He went to the enemy’s camp through His death and resurrection. Through Jesus, we can recover everything the enemy has stolen from us, reigning in life with overwhelming victory as God causes all things to work together for good. Come to the altar today if you have something in the enemy’s camp that rightfully belongs to you and let Jesus speak to you about what He wants to recover in your life through His victory.
