In Reaching Lives for Christ, missionary Dan Hurrelbrink reminds us of God’s faithfulness and challenges us to trust His promises, even when circumstances seem impossible. Sharing experiences from his ministry in Romania and Ukraine, he emphasizes three essential steps in following God’s calling: believing His promises, surrendering what we have, and walking in obedience.
Through biblical examples of Abraham, Moses, and Peter, we are encouraged to recognize that God can use our gifts, abilities, and willingness to accomplish extraordinary things. Dan reminds us that reaching others for Christ doesn’t require us to travel overseas—it begins with being available to serve those around us. Let us trust God’s faithfulness, surrender our abilities to Him, and boldly share the love of Jesus through the power of the Holy Spirit.
