Drawing from Apollo 13 commander Jim Lovell’s famous quote, Pastor Tim identifies three types of people and reveals that Jesus deliberately made His crucifixion happen by riding into Jerusalem on a donkey as the catalyst who would shift people from the old covenant to the new, fulfilling the prayer “Hosanna” (save now) even though the crowds misunderstood His mission. He emphasizes that ministry doesn’t happen by accident but requires people who step up and say “yes” to God, putting feet to their prayers and becoming doers of the Word rather than mere watchers who act like coaches without participating in the game. Let us use this Easter season to proclaim the good news about Jesus, stepping into those open doors when people are ready, praying for people in the moment rather than putting it off, and becoming catalysts who change the world we live in by ministering to those we encounter with boldness and action.
