Reaping the Benefits

As believers, we are called to live holy lives that reflect our faith, because others are watching and evaluating the authenticity of our walk with God through our actions.

About the Message

Pastor Tim challenges us to examine how undisciplined lifestyles, poor character, and disobedience can disqualify us from receiving God’s blessings and being used by Him. Using the story of Moses as an example, we are reminded that even great leaders can fall short, as Moses was barred from entering the Promised Land due to his disobedience and lack of self-control when he struck the rock instead of speaking to it as God commanded. Pastor Tim emphasizes that God cares deeply about our character and reputation, and though we may be a “work in progress,” this is no excuse for un-Christian behavior. As believers, we are called to live holy lives that reflect our faith, because others are watching and evaluating the authenticity of our walk with God through our actions. Pastor Tim encourages us to self-examine, repent, and align our lives with God’s will so that we don’t disqualify ourselves from the blessings and purposes He has for us. Let’s take this to heart and commit to living in obedience and holiness, so we can fully experience God’s best for our lives.
